Charrette Conductors’ Training 2015

The second training programme for Charrette Conductors’ was organised from 2nd to 4th December 2015 by the Indo-Swiss Building Energy Efficiency Project (BEEP). BEEP is promoting energy efficient building design in India, by providing technical assistance in the form of organising Integrated Design Charrettes for large commercial and residential building projects. An Integrated Design Charrette is an interactive design workshop which brings together the key members of the building project design team viz., the client, the architect, the engineering design team, user etc., to develop the energy concept of the building. The charrette provides an opportunity to consider and harmonize all possible energy-efficiency design strategies for the project.

The objective of this training programme for Indian Charrette conductors is to strengthen their skill set in conducting integrated design charrettes and be able to convince clients to adopt energy efficiency measures.
