Media Engagement Program

One of BEEP’s key aims is to mainstream concepts of Energy Efficient & Thermally Comfortable (EETC) buildings among non-technical audiences. To this end, BEEP works with media personnel across the country to mainstream and popularize the concept of EETC building design. We do this by providing media personnel with an educational program with some basic capacity building on the subject of EETC buildings. The workshop helps them simplify key messages when they write about or report on this topic.The BEEP Media Engagement Workshop is designed to extend online and offline resources and material that can help media personnel understand, draft, and disseminate information about EETC for wider consumption among non-technical audiences. Post the media workshop, an independent application process for a media fellowship is rolled out pan India, where fellows are selected based on the story idea they submit.
